PROTECTION KIT is my latest project for the Tenere 700.

It is the result of a series of needs and requests received since my first works on the new Tenere. Many pointed out these 3 weak points of the bike to me, and when the genius Erminio Pescini showed me the project I fell in love with it.

Having prepared the most extreme Tenere in the world for Team Kapriony, I was able to study every single corner of the bike, and I am convinced that this Protection Kit is the best possible solution to avoid nasty surprises.

And then for me these 3 accessories are also very beautiful, but like we say in Italy: “every baby is beautiful to his mother”.

REAR BRAKE PUMP PROTECTION

The rear brake pump is completely uncovered, many of my friends are rowdy enduro riders who use the bike truly at 360 ° and in all weather conditions.

The bike that falls off road and a branch that gets caught in the brake pump can be a bad business.

This protection is designed to protect the master cylinder and act as a heel guard.

ABS SENSOR PROTECTION

It takes a lot of bad luck to tear the ABS sensor apart.

It’s the classic thing that never happens, but the day it happens it makes you curse the world.

This protection can avoid trouble, especially for those who do offroad.

THROTTLE CABLES PROTECTION

The throttle cable control on the throttle body is quite exposed in case the bike lies down in the grass, branches or in brambles.

Also in my opinion it is looks poor, nobody likes to look poor.

This is the protection that has two functions:

  • Actually protect the cable area,
  • Hiding an area of ​​the bike so poor it makes you look like a bum with friends at the bar.

MATERIALS

All these protections are made from laser-cut, checked and hand-brushed stainless steel.

The thicknesses vary from 1.5 to 2mm.

The screws, present in the cable protection and ABS sensor, are in galvanized steel.
